Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 57: (Biological Classification > Low Complexity Regions / Repeats > RefOG008) - LRRC57 is an evolutionarily highly conserved leucine-rich repeat-containing protein in bilaterian animals, but its biological significance is unknown. Generally, leucine-rich repeats are frequently involved in the formation of protein-protein interactions. Leucine-rich repeat motifs have been identified in a large number of functionally unrelated proteins including toll-like receptors and ribonuclease inhibitors.
